The free program features folksong arrangements as well as works by Western masters like Robert Schumann and Antonio Vivaldi. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. in Dover Chapel. The Concert Choir and Director Dr. Joshua Cheney have just completed their Spring Tour of the North Carolina foothills, having performed in five churches in Gastonia, Newton, Hickory, and Marion. The music for Tuesday鈥檚 concert will be lively and entertaining. 鈥淭he audience can expect an exciting evening with diverse selections,鈥� Cheney described. 鈥淥ur goals are to make excellence music together, to engage with our audience and to have fun!鈥� University Communications Intern Chloe Cloutier contributed to this story.
