BOILING SPRINGS, N.C.鈥擣ans of the Runnin鈥 Bulldogs have plenty to celebrate with the start of March Madness and the upcoming Hercules Tires Big South Basketball Championships. The 蜜豆直播 women鈥檚 team has already clinched the Big South regular season title and the No. 1 seed in the postseason tournament, and the men鈥檚 team enters the final stretch of the season with some solid wins.

鈥淭he 蜜豆直播 fanbase remembers well the excitement that enveloped our campus and our community the last time we won a basketball championship back in 2019,鈥 noted GWU President Dr. William M. The women鈥檚 team has two more home games in Paul Porter Arena before the Big South Tournament. You鈥檙e invited to cheer on the 鈥楧awgs on Feb. 18 at 4 p.m. when the women take on UNC-Asheville, and again on Feb. 25 at 2 p.m. for senior day as the regular season wraps against USC-Upstate.

On Thursday (Feb. 23), fans have a chance to bolster the men鈥檚 team for the game at home against Longwood. The contest, which features senior night for the Runnin鈥 Bulldogs, will be broadcast on ESPNU. 鈥淲e need to get as many fans as possible in the building,鈥 urged Vice President & Director of Athletics Dr. Andrew T. Goodrich. 鈥淲e have a great opportunity to help our university and basketball brand when we host a game on ESPNU.鈥
