news-category: Alumni Celebrating Alumni – Heather Banfield Earns Licensure as an Associate By Office of University Communications On March 7, 2025 Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate was Among First Class to Earn Marriage, Couples and Family Counseling Concentration Heather Banfield, an alumna of the ÃÛ¶¹Ö±²¥ Clinical Mental Health Counseling program and one of the first students to graduate with the Marriage, Couples and Family Counseling concentration, is now a licensed marriage and family therapist associate. Banfield successfully passed the marriage and family therapy exam and met the requirements for licensure as an associate. She will continue to work on the requirements to become fully licensed as a marriage and family therapist. In the video below, Banfield discusses her experience in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program.
