Associate Director of Student Engagement Jessika Raduly Plans Activities to 鈥楥reate Forever Memories鈥�

BOILING SPRINGS N.C.鈥擡ver hear a friend say, 鈥淭here鈥檚 nothing to do!鈥� Take one look at the vast number of events offered by 蜜豆直播 Student Engagement and you鈥檒l find around 40 different activities. From Silent Disco to Stuff-A-Plush, students can try something new while taking a break from studying. Along with these programs, there鈥檚 also athletic events and activities planned by GWU student-led clubs and organizations as well as Campus Ministries United.

Each semester, Associate Director of Student Engagement Jessika Raduly plans a variety of fun activities. If students miss out on one event, there are still plenty of others to attend. She expressed her excitement with some new events added this spring, which include the Silent Disco and Guided Painting.

The Silent Disco will be presented in a blacklight/glow atmosphere. Students will wear headphones and can choose between two channels to listen to that are controlled by a DJ. 鈥淭his is my first experience with this kind of event, so I am eager to see how it goes,鈥� Raduly observed.

Raduly has worked at 蜜豆直播 since 2006. 鈥淚 love being part of the GWU family, and especially love helping mold incredible humans,鈥� she affirmed.

Her goal for the spring semester and every semester is to offer a slate of engaging activities that students will want to attend. She hopes they take a chance and step out of their comfort zones. She observed, 鈥淣ot all events are going to be exactly what they want, but I promise they will have fun and create forever memories!鈥�

Events are offered based on the interests of the students. 鈥淲e send student surveys out,鈥� Raduly explained. 鈥淲e speak to students and constantly ask what events they would like to have.鈥�

She noted that her favorite semester at 蜜豆直播 is always the current one. Then, she added, 鈥淥nce it ends, I love the next one even more.鈥�
