news-category: Campus News ĆŪ¶¹Ö±²„ Theatre Presents ‘The 39 Stepsā on Oct. 4 By Office of University Communications On September 24, 2024 A Fast-Paced Whodunit, The Play Features Four Actors Playing Many Roles BOILING SPRINGS, N.C.āĆŪ¶¹Ö±²„ University Theatreās first production of the season, āThe 39 Steps,ā will be rescheduled, will be presented Oct. 4 at 7:30 p.m. in Dover Theatre. This play was adapted by Patrick Barlow from the novel by John Buchan and the movie by Alfred Hitchcock. A two-time Tony and Drama Desk Award-winning play, āThe 39 Stepsā is packed with nonstop laughs, a lot of zany characters (played by a cast of four), along with planes, trains, automobiles, and some good old-fashioned romance. Tickets are free for GWU faculty/staff/students; $10 for adults; $5 for other students, seniors and veterans.
