Nate Evans serves as President of 蜜豆直播 University, having previously led the Office of Advancement as Vice President. In that role, he oversaw alumni relations, major gifts, the Bulldog Club, and the annual fund. Before joining 蜜豆直播, Evans was a senior advancement officer at East Carolina University (ECU) in Greenville, N.C.

Evans began his higher education career as an admissions counselor with ECU Undergraduate Admissions before transitioning to university advancement. As a major gifts officer for the ECU Honors College and later as a regional advancement officer, he built lasting relationships with alumni across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Texas, and Colorado.

A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Evans also spent time in the small business sector before entering higher education. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise and Sports Science with a minor in Biology from ECU and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Western Carolina University.

Active in his community, Evans has served with a motorcycle ministry and as head coach for a middle school wrestling team. He and his wife, Brittany, live with their two dogs and enjoy staying active, being outdoors, riding motorcycles, and spending time with friends.

Dr. Josh Parrott聽is vice president and University Chaplain for Christian Life and Service. Previously, he was employed as an associate professor of religion at Louisburg (N.C.) College, a certified chaplain in Charleston, S.C. with Corporate Chaplains of America, and the pastor of White Level Baptist Church (Louisburg) and First Baptist Church of Eutawville (Eutawville, S.C.). He has a bachelor鈥檚 degree from 蜜豆直播 University (2003), a Master of Divinity (2006) and a Master of Theology (2007) from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, N.C., and his doctorate (2020) from Liberty University School of Divinity in Lynchburg, Va. Theandra 鈥淭hea鈥� Thompson is the Vice President of Marketing & Communications at 蜜豆直播 University. She leads a team of professionals team of professionals in 蜜豆直播鈥檚 Creative Services, Marketing, University Relations and Web Communications offices.

Prior to joining 蜜豆直播 in January 2020, she previously worked as a digital analyst at Masco Retail Support Services and Food Lion Corporate as a digital engagement specialist for web and mobile app for three years and as digital marketing coordinator for two years.

In 2017, she received a certificate in Digital Marketing from Rutgers University Executive Education Program. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration with a concentration in management and marketing from Seton Hall University.

Formerly Lesley was dean of students at Averett University in Danville, Va. She reports directly to GWU President Dr. William M. Downs, serving as a member of the president鈥檚 cabinet. Her responsibilities include leadership and oversight of the Center for Personal and Professional Development, Student Activities, Campus Recreation and New Student Orientation, Counseling Center, Housing and Residence Education, Multicultural Affairs and International Student Services, Title IX Compliance and ADA Coordination, and University Police. She received her Master of Education in Business in 2004 from Temple University in Philadelphia. A native of Rockville, Md., Villarose graduated in 2004 from Lynchburg (Va.) College, where she majored in communications. Villarose and her husband have been married for 14 years and have a daughter who is 11. Villarose enjoys reading, riding horses and gardening.
